Subramanyam has over 27 years of experience in the financial services sector in the areas of investments, asset management, investment banking and corporate finance in Saudi Arabia and India. He has been investing across asset classes and has been involved in formulating and executing the investment strategy of the company in his capacity as CIO of Rana Investment Company and has also advised institutional clients during his career. Before moving to Saudi Arabia in 2000, he worked for one of the prominent business groups in India.

Subramanyam holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from India. He is a CFA charter holder, awarded by the CFA Institute, USA. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), awarded to investment professionals in Alternative Investments by CAIA Association, USA. He is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), awarded by the Global Association of Risk Professionals, USA.
