Mr. Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Shammisi has over 16 years of experience in management, finance, and investment. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2007 from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
Currently, Mr. Talal serves as the CEO of Saudi Falcons Club, which focuses on promoting authentic national heritage through organizing events, exhibitions, conferences, and related activities. The management aims to develop and invest in the club’s assets, enhancing the attractiveness of projects and investment opportunities for financial sustainability.
Public Investment Fund:
Mr. Talal held several key positions in the Public Investment Fund, including Director of Subsidiary Companies Affairs Management. This role oversaw four departments: Nominations and Rewards, Corporate Governance, Business Intelligence, and Support for Board Members in newly established companies. His responsibilities included nominating fund representatives to subsidiary boards, monitoring their performance, and representing the fund in general and extraordinary meetings of invested or owned companies. Additionally, he implemented policies for board remuneration and prepared required reports and studies for the board or related committees, among other duties.
Ministry of Interior:
At the Ministry, he notably led the Vision Implementation Office, focusing on establishing and activating the office, supervising the ministry’s privatization program and strategy, and overseeing projects linked to Vision 2030, such as the Unified Security Operations Center 911 in Riyadh.
Capital Market Authority:
During his tenure at the CMA, Mr. Talal held various positions gaining diverse experience in the capital market activities, particularly in public and private securities offerings. He worked closely with market participants including advisors, shareholders, and listed companies to ensure the effectiveness and quality of regulatory services. He also led initiatives creating regulatory frameworks and specialized electronic platforms supporting market activities.
He also served as Director of Investment Product Compliance at the Listed Companies Agency, overseeing public and private offerings, asset management, and sukuk issuances. His major role included restructuring the asset management sector to facilitate institutional investment and trading, developing regulatory frameworks for alternative investment channels like REITs and closed-end funds, and initiating projects such as the Growth Market.

Mr. Talal holds memberships in the boards of directors of several companies and their related committees, as well as memberships in the boards of directors of some investment funds.
